Financing Case: Four river gas tankers for INEOS Group

Project profile – financing:

• Pre- and post-delivery financing of two 6,000 cbm and two 5,000 cbm river gas tankers for INEOS Group
• Borrower INEOS Group is one of the world´s largest chemical groups which produces and markets a highly diversified portfolio of petrochemical basic and niche products

Contribution of KfW IPEX-Bank:

• Loan of EUR 45 million
• KfW IPEX-Bank structures the loan acting as sole lender
• Ecologically sound use of inland waterways for freight transport

Project profile – Vessels:

• 6,000 cbm an 5,000 cbm river gas tankers
• Vessels built at TeamCo Shipyard BV and VEKA Scheepsbouw BV in the Netherlandst
• Delivery July 2019 and November 2019
• Tankers transport butane gas and operate on the River Rhine between Antwerp and Cologne
