    The New York Representative Office represents KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH in all of North America, i.e. in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Its responsibilities include identifying potential financing opportunities for KfW IPEX-Bank. For this, the office conducts market research on industry sectors of interest to KfW IPEX-Bank and on current or potential clients.

    Close exchange with players in the syndication market

    It also maintains close contact with financial institutions and banks located in New York and other financial centres in the region that are active in the syndicated loan market. Additionally, the representative office acts as a liaison between the North American clients of KfW IPEX-Bank and the head office of KfW IPEX-Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.

    KfW IPEX-Bank's representative office in New York does not conduct any bank business of its own. Instead, its sole function is to support the bank's headquarters in Frankfurt.
