High expectations for professional challenges and corporate culture fully met
Before I joined KfW IPEX-Bank, I had come to know and appreciate this institute as a very proficient and reliable financing partner during my job in export and project finance at a major German bank. So, my expectations not only of the professional challenge but also of the corporate culture and social competence were high. After one year, I can say these have been met. Specifically, I enjoy working with specialists from the relevant sector departments and Legal Affairs to help export-oriented medium-sized companies in their internationalisation efforts.
I am very pleased to have joined the team of specialists at KfW IPEX-Bank as a product advisor for ECA credit insurance and export financing and to have received all the support I’ve been given. The range of tasks that this team carries out is impressive and I find the field as a whole very interesting. I mainly work as a contact/advisor for market departments in all aspects of credit insurance.
KfW IPEX-Bank made it easy for me to find my feet and settle into what is a new environment for me fairly quickly. I was helped not only by the incredibly informative induction event "A tour of KfW IPEX-Bank", but also particularly by the regular and intensive professional exchanges with my knowledgeable colleagues and managers, as well as their extraordinary willingness at all times to answer the various questions that new employees have.
My team and KfW IPEX-Bank as a whole placed a lot of trust in me right from the start, which delighted and motivated me. This was demonstrated, for example, by the fact that I was entrusted with responsible tasks very early on, and especially by the fact that after just a few months, given that I am a commuter, I was allowed to work from home on Mondays as long as this did not interfere with internal or external deadlines.
Overall, I feel extremely comfortable at KfW IPEX-Bank, not just professionally, but personally as well, and I particularly appreciate the flat hierarchy of the company.
