Syndications

In Syndications, we act as a link between our customers, the banking market and institutional investors, as well as credit insurance institutions. We support the various sectors in the market-oriented structuring and placement of transactions and prepare votes on syndication or fungibility assessments for transactions. In addition, we advise internally on terms and structures in order to find optimal solutions for our customers.

Treasury

Treasury is responsible for covering KfW IPEX-Bank’s capital and investment requirements. We manage the market risks arising from the loan business and offer comprehensive advice on all money and capital market issues. Our task is to ensure the bank’s solvency at all times. In addition, we enable our customers to enter into financial derivatives to ensure active interest rate and currency management.

Our tasks include loan administration for the entire loan portfolio of KfW IPEX-Bank and the assumption of a wide range of special functions at the bank. We are experts in mapping loan structures, formulating contractual clauses for credit administration and drafting arranger mandates. We manage our payment and credit transactions competently and in a way that puts the customer first. Will you join our expert team?

Our task is to support the Management Board in the development and implementation of the business strategy, corporate governance and strategic planning, as well as external and internal communication. We combine the analysis and evaluation of business figures, the development and implementation of business strategy measures, questions relating to sustainability topics, and press and public relations work. We also act as the business policy interface with KfW's corporate development. Is your specialist field listed?

We work closely and transparently with all stakeholders and actively address the risks arising from our international business. The Finance department is responsible for the financial management processes of our bank, taking into account strict national and international regulatory requirements. In addition, our specialist colleagues provide support in the form of knowledgeable financial analyses and forecasts to ensure the long-term financial stability and competitiveness of the bank. When can we expect to hear from you?

We coordinate the overall project portfolio and IT requirements and act as the point of contact for all IT projects at KfW IPEX-Bank. We support the specialist divisions in their technical and IT tasks, in organizsational and process design and are responsible for documentation standards. We also coordinate and monitor IT operations, banking organiszation and service outsourcing, and serve as the point of contact for procurement via our parent company KfW. Would you like to join us?

We are responsible for the management of all HR policy matters and processes. The Human Resources team comes into play when there is a need to support the Management Board and managers in all HR-related matters or recruitment and HR marketing. We are the first point of contact for all employees in matters relating to personnel development and constitute an interface with KfW Group. In Credit Risk Management I, we consolidate our central credit risk management expertise and focus our attention on the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. In all three topics, we are responsible for the transaction-related management of risks for new and existing business. In addition to the second vote on financing and the ongoing risk assessment, we are also responsible for the supervision of our internal rating and pricing tools, operational limit control and the monitoring of the risk methodology and management outsourced to KfW. To achieve this, we create reports on risk-relevant topics. Will you support us in these efforts?

Credit Risk Management II focuses on the Industries & Commerce and Mobility sectors. Here, too, we employ specialists to analyse and assess credit risks, hedge and monitor loan portfolios, and develop and implement strategies for risk minimisation. We identify potential risks in lending, set credit limits and regularly check the creditworthiness of customers as well as compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the financial sector. We have a clear goal: the recovery of non-performing financing projects through restructuring, reorganisation and credit adjustment. In the case of projects that are suitable for restructuring, we support financial and other types of restructuring. With a lot of creativity and focus on the customer and the particular case, we develop alternative solutions by integrating the usual restructuring instruments. This includes, among other things, analysing restructuring reports, searching for suitable investors and utilising domestic and foreign collateral. Would you like to contribute your ideas?

In Risk Controlling, we systematically monitor and assess the bank’s credit, market price, liquidity and operational risks. This involves the early identification and analysis of risks and the development of suitable measures to reduce risks. In this way, we secure the long-term stability and profitability of our bank and support sustainable lending in the international business environment. Our experts in the Compliance department monitor and ensure compliance with legal and internal rules. In the Anti-Financial Crime department, we aim to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing, ensure compliance with financial sanctions, and are responsible for the prevention of fraud and corruption. To this end, we work closely with all employees of the bank. In the area of regulatory compliance, we ensure that all relevant legal and regulatory requirements are known and complied with.
