You are the one who decides: start and duration of your student trainee job

It’s most fun when you’re well-trained in your field of work. That’s why we want you to plan to spend a little more time with us. If you want to support our team during your studies, you should aim to work with us for one to two years.

The weekly working hours are based entirely on you and your study requirements. It can be up to 20 hours per week during the semester. In the time between terms, you can work with us for up to 38 hours, depending on the requirements of the work.

What your application should show us

You are a full-time student at a state-recognised university and have not yet passed the final exam (valid enrolment).
You are NOT taking a semester of leave during your student trainee activity.
You have completed at least three semesters of a business or economics-related degree programme.
You communicate confidently when speaking and writing in German and English.
You are confident in using Microsoft Office.
You want to convince us of your commitment and enthusiasm for our business.

Practical insights
Over the course of one to two years as part of our team, you will gradually gain diverse and intensive insights into our organisation and culture. You will build your own network of contacts and are right in the middle of things instead of on the sidelines. As you become more and more independent over time, we also give you more and more responsibility, so that your learning curve will be steep and you will contribute to the overall success of the bank. It is important to us that you experience first-hand how we interact with each other and that you contribute both your study knowledge and your personality.
Attractive remuneration
If you are studying for a bachelor’s degree, you will receive a salary of EUR 18.00 per hour. You will earn EUR 19.00 per hour with us during your master’s degree. In addition, all student trainees receive a pro rata 13th salary.
Work-life balance
It goes without saying that your commitment in addition to your studies is worthwhile in many ways. Nevertheless, your studies are the priority and we will ensure that we adapt your assignments flexibly to the requirements of your studies. In addition, we will make your daily study and work easier by allowing you to work remotely up to 60% of your assignment time.
