In the area of energy infrastructure, we focus on financing projects that contribute to the further development of energy suppy and to security of supply in Germany and Europe.

We focus on financing:

• Grids and pipelines: with the aim of ensuring security of supply in Germany and building up a hydrogen infrastructure
• Storage facilities: for the efficient storage of energy such as (bio)fuels and resources for the chemical industry and for the storage of strategic reserves
• CCUS (Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage): for reducing CO₂ emissions and providing technical support for decarbonisation strategies
• Power transmission lines: to ensure a reliable energy supply
• District heating networks: for the gradual increase of the share of renewable energies and for efficient heat supply
• Charging infrastructure: to promote the uptake of electric vehicles and move towards climate- and resource-friendlier mobility

With a clear focus on the challenges of the energy transition and the transformation of the energy supply, we are committed to playing an active role in shaping the energy infrastructure of the future. Our aim is to work with our partners to strengthen structures that will ensure a reliable energy supply in the long term while also taking environmental and social requirements into account.
