KfW IPEX-Bank once again honoured with the Exporters’ Choice Award

For the second year in succession, KfW IPEX-Bank has been honoured with the Exporters’ Choice Award, which is presented to the best banks in the export business. The bank gained a top spot in the awards for its involvement in the region of Europe/Middle East/Africa.

The official awards ceremony was held in Prague by the London-based industry information service Trade & Export Finance (TXF), which honours banks and export credit agencies (ECAs) in the export market for their financing services. The awards are based on market surveys, which are carried out in cooperation with the Clevis Research institute in Munich and involve close to 170 international export companies. This means that banks and ECAs are rated directly by leading exporters.

“The fact that our customers have recognised our work in this area for two years in a row is an incredible endorsement of our role as a partner to the German and European export business,” explains Nadja Marschhausen, head of the structuring department at KfW IPEX-Bank. “Receiving a positive rating from exporters shows that we are speaking our customers’ language. However, it also motivates us to keep on offering our clients the same high standards in future.”

KfW IPEX-Bank received an overall rating of 8.3 out of 10.0 points for its financing services. The rating was made up of nine different criteria, which saw the banks assessed in terms of factors including flexibility and risk appetite as well as their speed and the quality of their work. Thanks to its industry expertise, sound business knowledge, customer-friendly approach and range of products, KfW IPEX-Bank received a particularly strong result.
