KfW IPEX-Bank receives TXF Export Finance Industry Choice Award

KfW IPEX-Bank, which is responsible for international project and export finance within KfW Group, receives the Export Finance Industry Choice Award from the independent London-based Trade & Export Finance (TXF) specialist information service. The specialist bank received its award in the category Best Bank in Export Finance.

The award recognises services provided by banks, law firms and export credit agencies (ECAs) that are active in the field of export financing. The awards were presented for the third time in a row and this time on the basis of an even broader market survey with almost 260 responses from the export industry. The aim of the study is to examine how different market participants in export finance assess different factors, such as transaction execution, flexibility and industry expertise. In addition to exporters, buyers and law firms, ECAs were also surveyed. KfW IPEX-Bank was thus assessed by many relevant stakeholders in the export industry and given good marks.

"I am especially pleased that KfW IPEX-Bank has been named 'Best Bank in Export Finance'," explains Klaus R. Michalak, CEO of KfW IPEX-Bank. "This immediate feedback from international market participants and the award are a great confirmation of our work as a partner of the German and European export industry. We see this as a confirmation of our intention to align ourselves again and again to the needs of our customers, to offer individual solutions and thus to write success stories together with our customers for years to come."

In six out of ten evaluation criteria, KfW IPEX-Bank prevailed over other banks and took first place in each case. This can be traced back to its sound knowledge of the industry, its high degree of flexibility, its risk management, scope of services and pricing, as well as its tailor-made portfolio. The overall result underscores the bank's high standards by proving an excellent degree of customer satisfaction.
