Bocar Group has production sites in Mexico and R&D sites in Germany and is one of the world's leading suppliers of modules made of aluminum and plastic for the automotive industry. The global e-mobility trend demands new mobility concepts and highly requires lightweight structural parts. The new lightweight aluminum components can supplement or completely replace the currently prevalent steel chassis components particularly where safety and lower weight are important.

The new production plant will help the company to achieve greater energy efficiency in the production of aluminum components for the automotive sector and further expand its international growth strategy. The investment has also been qualified for KfW's energy efficiency program as it saves energy in production. In line with its mandate to promote the German economy, KfW IPEX-Bank is supporting the internationalization strategy of the German-Mexican family business. At the same time, it is making a contribution to sustainability in the automotive industry and thus to environmental protection and climate change mitigation.
